The preachers were headed in the right direction, I am sure they meant well. But the main reason that things have gone awry is because the men have failed to show good leadership qualities. Most expect a servant rather than understand that a woman is a partner in a marriage and are spiritually our equals and should be loved to the point of death. That was the example of Christ . If men would honor their wives and show appreciation of their many gifts , marriages could survive and so would the family unit as a whole. I am not a woman, by the way . If you doubt what I am saying , read Ephesians and ask the Lord for understanding of his Word. Men should be the spiritual leaders of the household and they should lead by example.
